John has extensive experience in managing convenience based shopping centres. He was responsible for the centre and facilities management of a portfolio of Shopping Centres Australia (SCA) centres when they were acquired from Woolworths. These properties included – Greystanes Shopping Centre, Lane Cove Market Square, West Dubbo, North Orange, Berala, and Fairfield Heights.

When at Sentinel John was responsible for the re-negotiation of all operational contracts in NSW when a shopping centre or property was acquired and he was instrumental in reducing the outgoings substantially.
